Duties And Responsibilities
Purpose
Responsible for supervising the operation of Oceaneering Subsea Robotics Equipment Operations, including Remotely Operated Vehicles, IWOCS and RWOCS systems, tensioning and reel systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Duties include maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all electronic, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and sub‑systems.
 * Operates and trains operators of ROVs, Workover Control Systems, Tensioning Systems, and Reel Systems.
 * Supervises maintenance and repairs on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical units/equipment, uses test equipment, performs calibration and alignment, and maintains general housekeeping and corrosion control.
 * Manages crew and customer work scheduling.
 * Maintains communications and good relations with offshore work location leadership, crew, and fellow Oceaneering crew members; writes reports and maintains records.
 * Supports all required safety programs of Oceaneering and clients.
 * Integrates system modifications, designing, building, and interfacing electrical and hydraulic systems, maintaining technical documentation, and constructing mounting systems.
 * Directs integration and operation of tooling including cutters, pump units, multipurpose skids, dredging systems, standalone sensory systems, and other tooling integrated to the ROV.
 * Maintains parts and supplies inventories for all electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic assemblies and subassemblies.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
 * Minimum of 3 to 5 years offshore operations experience and completion of all competencies as dictated by the Competency System.
 * Valid passport and regionally mandated offshore work documents as appropriate.
 * Technical/Associate’s degree or higher.
