VTA Recruitment Ltd are working on behalf of a locally managed service provider in recruiting a driver to join their streetcare team.
Our client is a market-leading waste management company working on behalf of Stockport council.
Position: Driver/Operative (Nights)
Department: Streetcare – Street Cleansing
Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday nights, 9:30 PM to 5:24 AM (37 hours per week)
Rate of Pay: £13.26 + £2.65 Shift allowance. (£15.91ph)
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive a 6.5-tonne tipper vehicle for street cleansing tasks.
* Operate alone, responsible for emptying up to 160 litter bins per night.
* Perform physically demanding work, including handling and lifting.
Requirements:
* Driving Licence: Minimum C1 licence with Tachograph card required to operate the vehicle.
* Experience: Desirable experience driving a small mechanical sweeper.
* Knowledge: Familiarity with the Stockport area is advantageous.
