Join Our Team as a Facilities Manager We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to support the NSC Department in delivering a safe, secure, and efficient working environment. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Security, Property Management, and Facilities Operations across the site. What You'll Be Doing Managing facilities services across the NSC site, ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-maintained environment. Driving compliance with Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Environmental, Security, and Property Management requirements. Conducting site audits and inspections to maintain the highest operational and safety standards. Managing external contractors, consultants, and suppliers, ensuring performance meets agreed KPIs. Developing and implementing plans to meet statutory, regulatory, and operational requirements. Maintaining risk assessments, permits to work, method statements, and compliance documentation. Identifying and mitigating operational risks through effective risk management and contingency planning. Working closely with site management teams to resolve facilities and property-related issues. Overseeing site traffic management, security operations, cleaning services, and FLT compliance. Managing Health & Safety reporting systems, ensuring corrective and preventative actions are completed. Leading Health & Safety meetings and promoting a positive safety culture across the site. Reporting Health & Safety, Fire Risk, Security, and Property issues to senior management. So we can help you succeed, here’s what you’ll need: Proven experience in Facilities Management, Site Management, or a Health & Safety leadership role. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and industry best practice. IOSH certification (essential). Excellent leadership, people management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience managing contractors and third-party service providers. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Experience driving continuous improvement and positive cultural change. Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills. Why Join Speedy?
