EVENT CATERING EXPERIENCE ESSENTAIL
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· To help retain AP&Co. as a market leader within the luxury events sector.
· To sell & plan high end events to the highest standard.
· Working alongside all departments to ensure the seamless execution of every event
SALES & PLANNING
· To achieve and exceed targets through proactive sales & planning.
· Keeping up to date with styling trends and themes in the luxury weddings & events sector.
· Produce timely and accurate bespoke proposals in line with the company’s templates and pricing structure.
· Design bespoke mood boards for proposals, liaising with high end planners, florists, and production suppliers to create the look and feel of each event.
· Proactively manage and develop the relationship with all venues in your portfolio, ensuring that they generate leads and opportunities.
· Proactively manage and develop the relationship with any key clients to grow revenue.
· Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
· Ability to manage and plan big event projects and budgets independently.
· Manage client menu tastings, working on the design, and brief the operations team and waiting staff and assist with the set up.
· Working with our culinary director on bespoke menus.
· Ensure the company’s GP target is maintained in the sales and quoting process.
· Ensure quotes adhere to all venue rules and regulations.
· Attend networking and promotional events where required.
· Maintain relevant records within the company’s CRM system, Eventworks.
· Assist with the company’s marketing plan, and activities.
OPERATIONS
· Provide a full handover of your event to the operations manager.
· Assist with the kitchen notes and compile event trackers for each event in an accurate and timely manner.
· Liaise with Operations Managers in the planning and delivery of an event.
· Assist in the onsite operations for colleagues at larger events, and promotional events.
