Job Description
As a Field Service Engineer in our Fleet division you will conduct regular maintenance, testing & inspecting and reactive breakdown service calls on a range of equipment as well as completing necessary paperwork for quality and safety inspections.
What you’ll do
* Daily diagnostic testing, troubleshooting and repair of customer equipment.
* Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
* Maintain and enhance customer relationships.
* Produce timely and accurate service reports.
* Ensure all calls are attended promptly and within set SLA.
* Ensure all company equipment is properly maintained and in good working order at all times.
Skills and attributes
* Experience using hand tools.
* Technical awareness.
* Mechanical or electrical experience, either professionally or through self interest.
* Ability to voltage test AC/DC single and three phase supplies is a plus.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact confidently and professionally.
* Flexible approach with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
* Understanding of PC hardware (networking and IT troubleshooting).
* Full driver’s license.
* Comfortable working at height.
Location of Work
You can be based in or around Cambridge, Peterborough, Kettering or Northampton.
