Security Operations Manager
Salary £40k per annum.
Areas of management: Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Chesterfield, Nottingham and potentially some other surrounding areas.
Company: Mitie Business Services – Security.
Hours: 40 hrs per week – Monday to Friday (flexibility required as hours vary).

Job Summary
Mitie is looking to recruit a Security Operations Manager to oversee the West Yorkshire region and business plan, ensuring the division delivers to agreed objectives/targets. The Operations Manager will assist with day‑to‑day operational running of the branch through effective staff and customer management, work closely with the Regional Management Team to provide excellent customer service, employee satisfaction and ensure all business‑related tasks are completed on time, further ensuring regional operational growth plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensuring employee welfare checks are completed.
* Help complete monthly branch‑based business reports.
* Recruit, motivate and train all employees operating out of the branch, ensuring correct manning and optimal resource profiles.
* Manage customer requirements through provision of visit reports where required.
* Conduct and monitor staff appraisals of direct reports; set clear objectives, support and develop all direct reports and ensure appropriate succession plans are in place.
* Build, maintain and manage positive relationships.
* Adhere to client KPIs.
* Act as Duty Manager for the manned guarding business in branch on a rota basis with other Operational Managers.
Qualifications and Experience
* Full clean driving licence.
* Front line SIA licence.
* At least 2 years security industry experience.
* Financially aware.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Proven experience in problem solving.
