Role
As a senior member of this Tier 1-ranked Projects & Infrastructure team, you will play a central role in advising on some of the most complex, high-value, and high-profile infrastructure developments in the UK and overseas. This is a unique opportunity to join a team trusted by major public bodies, global investors, and private developers to deliver legal solutions on impactful projects.
Your work will span the entire project lifecycle, including planning and procurement, often involving transport (rail, road, aviation), health and social infrastructure, utilities, defence, and renewable energy (onshore and offshore wind, hydro, biomass, solar). This provides the chance to work on projects that are high-value, socially significant, and environmentally strategic.
You will collaborate with specialists in planning, real estate, construction, finance, and procurement to develop cohesive legal strategies. This multidisciplinary approach is vital to project success.
As a Senior Associate, you will also have client-facing responsibilities, build trusted relationships, mentor junior colleagues, and contribute to business development.
The team is expanding in Scotland, and you will play a key role in shaping its future and increasing its market share.
Your Experience
* Minimum of 4 years PQE
* Ability to manage a complex and varied workload independently
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Commercial awareness and genuine interest in infrastructure and projects
* Proactive, innovative, and value-adding mindset
* Passion for the industry
