Penrose Learning Trust is looking to recruit a qualified and motivated Senior HR Advisor to join our friendly and hardworking central team. You will work alongside our recently appointed Head of Service - HR to support the nine schools, within our trust to develop and thrive, as well as supporting the development of other HR team members.
The key aspects of the role include:
o supporting the HR Manager to raise HR practice and procedure across the trust
o supporting senior school leaders to develop their skills in dealing with complex people issues
o providing guidance and support in relation to all HR matters and lead on more complex case work
o assisting HR transactional and administrative processes
o attending and participate in HR related meetings.
You will have:
o a qualification to CIPD Level 5 or equivalent and be a member of CIPD
o knowledge and understanding of schoolteachers pay terms and conditions to include the ‘Burgundy book’
o knowledge and understanding of support staff terms and conditions to include the ‘Green book’
o outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
o organisational and planning skills
o a high level of IT literacy.
