About the role:
This welcoming SEN school in Stratford-upon-Avon is looking for a nurturing and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. Starting ASAP, this role offers the chance to support pupils in a positive and structured environment focused on individual progress.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
* Adapt classroom resources to meet individual learning requirements
* Encourage independence and confidence in students
* Assist with personal care where required
* Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement support plans
Pre-requisites:
* Experience supporting SEN in a school or care setting
* Understanding of different SEN needs and strategies
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
* Calm and resilient approach to challenging situations
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
