Do you enjoy defining manufacturing processes, capturing knowledge, improving production readiness, and solving complex integration challenges? This is an opportunity to join an innovative engineering organisation developing advanced aerospace and autonomous systems, where you’ll play a key role in shaping how next generation products are built and delivered.
We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with experience across industrialisation, new product introduction, production transfer, and electrical or systems integration. This role sits at the heart of the manufacturing operation, ensuring products can be built efficiently, repeatedly, and at scale while supporting the integration of complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Leading and supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and industrialisation activities from development into production
• Capturing manufacturing knowledge and converting it into controlled, repeatable production processes
• Creating and maintaining work instructions, routers, and manufacturing documentation used directly by production teams
• Developing and implementing PFMEAs, Control Plans, and process capability improvements
• Supporting production transfer and manufacturing scale up activities
• Identifying manufacturing risks and implementing robust mitigation strategies
• Defining assembly and integration processes for electrical, electronic, and mechanical
What We’re Looking For
• Experience leading or owning NPI, industrialisation, or production transfer projects
• Strong understanding of manufacturing process development and production ramp up activities
• Experience authoring work instructions and manufacturing documentation used on the shop floor
• Practical knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, process capability, and structured manufacturing methodologies
• Experience working directly with production teams to define and optimise manufacturing processes
• Hands on experience with electrical assembly, systems integration, avionics, harness installation, or related production environments
Desirable Experience
• Aerospace, defence, UAV, UAS, eVTOL, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
• Experience within startup, scale up, or production transfer environments
• APQP or equivalent gated NPI framework experience
• MES or ERP implementation involvement
