About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Graduate Structural Engineer with around two years of industry experience to join a growing consultancy in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to develop their career while working on a variety of residential and commercial building projects, ranging from small-scale developments to larger multi-storey schemes.
You will work closely with senior engineers and project teams, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of the design process, from concept design through to construction.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design and analysis of structural elements for residential and commercial developments.
Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
Support senior engineers in delivering projects from concept through to detailed design.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other consultants.
Attend site visits and assist with inspections when required.
Ensure designs comply with relevant UK codes and industry standards.Requirements
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
Approximately 2 years' experience in a structural engineering consultancy.
Experience working on residential and/or commercial building structures.
Familiarity with structural design software and AutoCAD/Revit is desirable.
Understanding of UK design standards (Eurocodes and British Standards).
Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to learning.What We Offer
