Senior Biomedical Scientist (Bank)
Up to £20.50 per hour depending on experience
Our Pathology Team at Tunbridge Wells Hospital currently has an opportunity for a Biomedical Scientist (BMS) or Senior BMS specializing in Blood Sciences or Histology. Continue your journey with us while we support you to be your best.
As a Senior Biomedical Scientist, you will:
* Deliver quality pathology services and participate in out-of-hours on-call service.
* Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, and reporting, including quality control.
* Keep records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables.
* Support the organization in validating and assessing new equipment and developing new diagnostic procedures to enhance patient care.
As a Senior Biomedical Scientist, you will have:
* HCPC registration and relevant laboratory experience in Haematology or Biochemistry.
* Good working knowledge of analytical equipment across multi-disciplinary techniques.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* An understanding of the importance of maintaining good customer relationships and providing high-quality service in a modern pathology laboratory.
