Progressive bio-engineering company has a position available for an EXPERIENCED QUALITY INSPECTOR required for the inspection of small to medium-sized precision machined parts.
Successful candidates will:
1. Be familiar with ISO 9001 Quality Systems and work to the Company's Quality System and operating procedures
2. Be competent in programming and operating a Mitutoyo CMM or equivalent
3. Be able to visually inspect highly-polished parts
4. Have a good understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
5. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
6. Be familiar in managing calibration systems
7. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy in their work and recognise the need for product quality and work to consistently high standards at all times.
8. Good organisational skills, be methodical and have a very good eye for detail
9. Remuneration: £28,000 pa
10. Holidays: 28 days (incl stats) raising to 33 days in the 4th year
11. Hours of work: 39 hours per week
