As a Procurement Manager, you will lead, influence, and deliver strategic procurement and contract management initiatives that drive organisational excellence and ensure value for money. The Procurement Manager will advise stakeholders and ensurepliance with procurement and contract regulations in line with PCR 2015 and PA23. This role will champion socially responsible procurement and value for money across all procurement and contract management processes, while mitigating risk and contributing to continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
1. Lead and support procurement and contract management with a strong customer focus.
2. Ensure value for money and effective service delivery that meetsmunity needs.
3. Manage resources efficiently, continuously seeking to improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
4. Promote innovation and excellence in procurement, embracing technology to enhance oues.
5. Embed socially responsible principles throughout all procurement activity
6. Manage supplier engagement and market analysis to support effective sourcing
decisions

8. Shape and embed a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and transformational change across procurement and contract management.
9. Develop and implement policies, frameworks, and systems that ensurepliance, financial integrity, and strategic alignment.
10. Drive the delivery of efficient, focused procurement services that enhance customer satisfaction and operational performance.
11. Support and advise the Head of Procurement onernance, reporting, and strategic planning, contributing to corporate projects and decision-making forums.
12. Represent the organisation externally, build strategic partnerships, and influence sector developments to ensure the organisation remains agile and future ready.
13. Champion the use of technology and automation to streamline procurement processes and improve organisationalpliance.
14. Lead and coach the procurement team to deliver high-performing, consistent services that support business-critical activities.
15. Analyse and interpret supplier spend data and procurement performance to inform strategic decisions and deliver measurable value.
16. Collaborate across teams to eliminate duplication, enhance service integration, and foster a ‘one team’ culture.
17. Monitor and evaluate customer feedback and performance data to inform service design and delivery improvements.
18. Ensure robust financial controls, statutorypliance, and effective audit support in partnership with the finance team.
