The Commercial Property programme aims to transform Commercial Property Claims into a data-led function and the best in the market. This involves building new functionality, changing processes, and developing new capabilities, all while leveraging technology, data, and advanced analytics.
About the job:
You will be responsible for delivering a set of interconnected products aligned with the sponsor's vision, including IT, process changes, data, and analytics models. The investment is typically between £2m and £5m. Leading a development team, you will inspire them to buy into the vision and create a clear product roadmap. Collaboration with other development teams is essential to ensure the roadmap and product value are understood and integrated across the system. You will optimize product development by working closely with sponsors and SMEs, making key decisions, and supporting the development team. Regular stakeholder governance will be maintained to showcase progress and motivate the delivery team, contributing to the wider PO community.
Skills and experience:
* At least 5 years in change delivery within a PO or similar role, preferably with General Insurance knowledge and understanding of the claims value chain.
* Experience in operations (particularly in financial services) is valuable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word; Jira and Confluence are beneficial.
* Proactive, tenacious, with strong problem-solving skills, lateral thinking, and adaptability to change.
* Effective communication skills, good interpersonal abilities, and a team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and assist others.
