What You’ll Be Doing
Working from our main office in Sunderland you’ll be part of a high‑volume dispensary team helping process and deliver life‑changing medication to patients across the UK. As an Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) your role will include everything an Aspiring Dispensing Assistant does, plus providing the final accuracy check on prescriptions before they are despatched to patients. Your day‑to‑day will include:
* Performing final accuracy checks on prescriptions and ensuring all medications meet our quality standards
* Labelling, handling and dispensing prescriptions including controlled drugs
* Maintaining accurate Controlled Drugs records and pharmacy paperwork
* Stock control and dispensary organisation
* Liaising with our Admin and Customer Service teams to manage patient expectations
* Supporting dispensary cleanliness, organisation and compliance with all SOPs and regulations
* Keeping your knowledge up to date on medical cannabis products and maintaining your GPhC ACT registration

Essential Requirements
* GPhC Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) registration
* NVQ Level 2 Dispensing Qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working in a pharmacy, ideally within a fast‑paced environment
