Vehicle Technician – Main Dealership in Oldham
1. Basic Salary up to £36,450 Depending on experience + bonus!
2. Annual Leave: 31 Days Holiday Per Year (including Bank Holidays)
3. Hours: Monday - Friday 42.5 hrs + optional overtime
4. Must have City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in vehicle repair

Our client, a well-established main dealership, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their team in Oldham. Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician:
5. Maintain and repair vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring they are serviced and repaired in line with manufacturer guidelines.
6. Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs, liaising closely with Service Advisors and customers.
7. Perform Vehicle Health Checks, ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently.
8. Complete all jobs within agreed timeframes while maintaining high productivity levels.
9. Road test vehicles to ensure all issues are resolved and customers’ expectations are exceeded.
10. Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards, ensuring minimal repeat repairs.
11. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment meet health and safety standards.
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
12. A formal qualification in Vehicle Repair (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
13. Proven diagnostic and fault-finding experience (desirable).
14. A full, valid UK driving license.
15. A flexible approach to work, with the ability to meet deadlines and work as part of a team.
16. Strong communication skills and a “right first time” attitude.
17. Excellent attention to detail and awareness of health and safety procedures.
