Oracle Data Lead Consultant – PwC UK
Overview
As an Oracle Consulting services team member, you will help clients adopt Oracle Cloud technology to transform business functions such as finance, supply chain, HR, and tax. You will drive data initiatives across large client programs, ensuring high-quality delivery within time, cost, and quality constraints.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead or provide key support to the data workstream for large client programs focused on Oracle ERP technology using industry‑leading methodologies.
* Mentor junior PwC data consultants through data migration and reporting activities from strategy to design to deployment.
* Lead client implementation and support of Oracle Cloud as a data lead or key resource.
* Monitor and maintain data‑related progress of program plans and governance to ensure delivery of key stages and goals within agreed constraints.
* Assist the client in monitoring data tasks and progress of client activities.
* Assess risks and issues by maintaining logs and contingency plans.
Skills and Experience We Are Looking For
* SC clearance required.
* Experience designing and implementing reporting and data migration strategies and plans.
* Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, including Oracle RDBMS and Oracle Cloud databases.
* Familiarity with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
* Proficient in SQL or PL/SQL.
* Understanding of database design principles, data modelling, and architecture concepts.
* Experience in data profiling, cleansing, and validation processes to ensure data integrity.
* Full lifecycle experience of a minimum of 3 Oracle Cloud implementations.
* Awareness of capabilities across Oracle applications and platform components, including ERP (Finance and Supply Chain), EPM, SCM, HCM.
* Proven ability to work with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements.
* Proficient in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including data mapping and migration plans.
* Experience developing and executing testing plans for data migration.
* Experience developing workstream plans for delivery.
