Financial ControllerLocation: LeedsSalary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Bonus & Benefits
Are you a proactive finance leader ready to take full ownership of a pivotal role in a fast-growing, ambitious business? We’re searching for a hands-on, commercially savvy Financial Controller to lead the finance function and become a key partner to the leadership team.
The Role:You’ll lead a motivated finance team and work closely with an inspirational Finance Director and a supportive Managing Director. Together, you’ll drive financial performance, shape strategy, and bring commercial insight to life across operations, purchasing, marketing, and sales. Key Responsibilities:
* Own month-end reporting and produce insightful board-level financial packs
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to align with business goals
* Drive improvements in finance systems and processes to boost efficiency and compliance
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence operational performance and profitability
* Manage audits, tax returns, payroll, and financial controls with rigour
* Lead and inspire your finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and engagement
About You:
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified
* Proven track record as a Finance Manager or Financial Controller, ideally in manufacturing or distribution
* Commercially focused with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Confident communicator, comfortable influencing senior stakeholders
* Collaborative leader passionate about developing teams and culture
