As we modernise our commercial, pricing, billing and revenue systems, we’re replacing fragmented legacy platforms with a fully integrated, future‑ready Customer‑to‑Cash (C2C) capability. This is a rare opportunity to help shape a once‑in‑a‑generation ERP transformation that will redefine how Royal Mail operates. We’re now looking for a Business Analyst – Pricing to play a pivotal role across both our future ERP programme and our existing pricing estate. This is a unique split role where you’ll influence strategic pricing design for our new SAP‑enabled environment, while also ensuring smooth, accurate delivery of pricing and promotional changes in our current systems. What you’ll be doing Supporting Pricing & Promotion Changes in Legacy Systems Lead the delivery of pricing and promotional updates across our existing pricing applications. Analyse pricing data to support promotional activity and ensure accuracy. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand upcoming pricing changes and priorities. Coordinate with third‑party teams to implement changes with clear success criteria. Support testing, quality assurance and defect resolution. Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual effort and improve data quality. Business Analysis for the Future ERP Programme (SAP S/4HANA) Lead discovery and requirements gathering for pricing and rating across Commercial, Finance and Operations. Analyse current pricing processes, rules and data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities. Translate business needs into clear, testable functional and non‑functional requirements for SAP delivery teams. Work with Solution Architects and SAP consultants to align requirements with best‑practice SAP pricing capabilities. Support end‑to‑end process mapping and participate in design workshops. Assess impacts on upstream/downstream processes, revenue assurance and customer experience. Ensure full traceability of requirements through design, build and testing. Data & Pricing Logic Analyse pricing attributes, conditions and calculations to support target pricing model design. Validate pricing master data for ERP configuration. Support creation of pricing scenarios and datasets for SIT and UAT. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration Act as the bridge between business SMEs and SAP functional/technical teams. Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs and design reviews. Support testing teams with clear acceptance criteria and expected system behaviours. Assist with defect triage and prioritisation. What we’re looking for Business Analysis experience, ideally in pricing, commercial operations or revenue processes. Hands‑on experience with SAP or another enterprise‑scale ERP (S/4HANA preferred), especially pricing functionality. Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret pricing logic and data structures. Excellent documentation skills — requirements, user stories, process maps, acceptance criteria. Confident communicator able to work across Commercial, Finance, Technology and Operations. Familiarity with testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and the role of requirements in quality assurance. Highly organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑paced, multi‑vendor programme environment. Experience in large‑scale transformation or Customer‑to‑Cash processes is desirable.
