This is a hands-on role supporting the development and application of electrochemical technologies for environmental and industrial applications. You’ll contribute directly to customer trials, lab experimentation, and product development - playing a key part in turning cutting-edge science into practical solutions.
This role would suit a recently qualified graduate chemist/chemical engineer who wants a practical focus to their role, coupled with hands-on lab experience.
Graduate Chemist responsibilities:
1. Design and conduct lab-based experiments and cleaning trials with precise data recording and analysis.
2. Operate pilot-scale electrochemical generators and test rigs to produce materials for trials.
3. Support field-based customer trials, including equipment preparation, transport, operation at customer sites, and post-trial cleaning.
4. Collect and transcribe trial data into structured databases to support analysis and reporting.
5. Manage laboratory operations including equipment maintenance, stock control, waste disposal, and adherence to safety standards.
