Rate of Pay: £18.66 - £25.51 per hour
Summary:
As a Social Worker at Nottinghamshire County Council, you will play a crucial role in supporting and safeguarding vulnerable individuals and families. You will assess needs, plan care, coordinate services, and advocate for service users to promote their well-being, safety, independence, and quality of life. Youll work collaboratively with a range of partners and within statutory frameworks to deliver high standards of professional practice.
Responsibilities:
* Engage in supervision and ongoing professional development, maintaining HCPC/Social Work England registration.
* Respond to crisis situations and provide appropriate interventions to prevent harm or deterioration in circumstances.
* Undertake assessments of individuals and families to identify needs and risks in line with statutory duties.
* Develop and implement person-centered care and support plans, ensuring that services are proportionate, effective, and timely.
* Safeguard children and adults through timely interventions, risk assessments, and coordinated multi-agency work.
Qualifications:
* Degree or Diploma in Social Work (or equivalent recognised qualification).
* Registered with Social Work England.
* Evidence of continued professional development.
Essentials:
* Experience working with a diverse range of individuals, including those with mental health issues, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, or at risk of harm.
* Proven experience in statutory social work with children, families, or adults (depending on team).
* Strong understanding of social work legislation, policy, and guidance.
* Experience of multi-agency working and managing complex caseloads.
