An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the Acute Services Division Medical Directorate Admin Team, providing a comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to our Directorate Management team .
You should have experience of working in a busy office environment. Educated to HND level or with relevant experience (relevant experience working as a Personal Secretary/PA within a large organisation), you will have proven secretarial and administrative experience and possess excellent communication, organisational and problem solving skills.
Knowledge and understanding of common office practices, including minute taking and audio/copy typing are essential, alongside being proficient in the use of all Microsoft packages, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams).
Knowledge of NHS procedures and practices or experience in a public sector environment would also be an advantage.
You are required to be a flexible and motivated individual, with the ability to work on your own or as part of a team. A level of English language competency and communication skills necessary to perform this role safely and effectively is also required.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
