Contracts Manager – Bellshill, Scotland, United Kingdom
Equans is seeking an experienced and dedicated Contracts Manager to join our team in Bellshill. This is a full‑time role offering a competitive salary, company car or car allowance, bonus and benefits package.
Responsibilities
* Accountable for the financial performance of the contract.
* Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across stakeholder groups.
* Manage risks (SHEQ) through RAMS, PPE, training and company procedures.
* Develop effective working relationships with operational personnel, business partners, suppliers and subcontractors.
* Build meaningful and sustainable relationships with the Client and related organisations.
* Manage client service delivery across multiple locations and allocate resources efficiently.
* Agree and maintain a clear business plan for the contract.
* Set, monitor and control SLAs and KPIs to add value across delivery stakeholders.
* Ensure mobile personnel meet agreed SLAs and KPIs for technical and related services.
* Plan, implement and monitor standards for PPM and reactive works with mobile teams.
* Record completion times for planned, corrective and reactive works in the asset management system.
* Review monthly audit checks for legislative compliance and report to the Account Manager.
* Review contract performance monthly with the Account Manager and agree future plans.
* Develop and monitor direct reports through training and regular reviews.
* Deliver training and corporate briefings.
* Drive successful contract negotiations and business improvement initiatives.
* Manage any support functions required to deliver a coherent service.
* Review interfaces with third‑party suppliers and subcontractors.
* Maintain commercial understanding of client contractual deliverables across all services.
* Meet regularly with the client to understand their organisation and requirements.
* Drive profit improvement through sales generation and cost‑saving initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience
* Previous contract management experience, preferably in Social Housing and compliance.
* A sound technical background with recognised M&E qualifications.
* Good knowledge of building services and legislation.
* H&S qualification.
* Water Systems and Legionella Control – HSG274.
* Experience using a CAFM system.
* Asbestos awareness.
* Computer literate.
* Excellent communication skills with colleagues, clients, service partners and suppliers.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills.
* Self‑motivated and able to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
* Flexible and adaptable to change.
* Full, clean driver’s licence essential.
