About the role
The Senior Business Support Officer will provide support across the Education Senior Management Team and specific support to the Deputy Director for Education. Reporting to the Business Support and Digital Transformation Manager, you will provide competent, organised, and professional support and will handle sensitive and confidential information.

About you
The ideal candidate will have actively demonstrated AfC values during their career, shown a commitment to providing a highly professional standard of work, and possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills. You should be a quick learner, have previous experience of project management, performance management, dealing with both internal and external customers, and be able to prioritise your workload while supporting senior managers and working to tight deadlines.
You will be:
* Ideally educated to degree level or hold an equivalent qualification
* Able to use a range of packages/applications - G-Suite, MS Office, Liquidlogic
* Experienced in working in social care, early help, or education, ideally with senior-level officers
* Skilled in providing seamless shared support on behalf of an executive office
* Able to keep and maintain records (in accordance with local policy) and produce accurate reports, presentations, minutes, and updates for stakeholders, including families, children, or young people
