As our Information Controller you will act as the "nerve centre" of a project, responsible for managing the flow, quality, and integrity of documentation and data. You will ensure all project data—including drawings and models, are is accurately recorded, securely stored, and readily accessible, adhering to ISO 19650. ROLE PURPOSE To maintain and control the project's Common Data Environment (CDE) and documentation workflow, ensuring that project teams (clients, contractors, and consultants) operate using the latest, verified information. INTERFACES Internal Interfacing: Production Managers, Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, Design Managers and Designers External Interfacing: Subcontractors, Client representatives, Consultants (Architects, Engineers). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Information Management & Control • Document Control Duties: Register, receive, log, distribute, and archive all incoming/outgoing project drawings, reports, and submittals. • Version Control: Maintain up-to-date document registers to ensure the site team is working from the current revisions, preventing costly rework. • Data Accuracy & Validation: Check for compliance with project naming protocols (e.g., BS 1192/ISO 19650) before publication. • O&M Manuals & Handover: Assist in compiling Operating & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, Health & Safety files, and as-built drawings for final project handover.
