Freeman Community Primary School is looking to appoint a caring and motivated Pastoral Support and Teaching Assistant to support children across the whole school. You must be able to support all staff across the school, in addition to working with individuals and small groups of children. You will also support children and families in overcoming barriers to learning, and promote welfare, attendance and well-being of all pupils. Through doing this you will assist children with their learning and pastoral needs, enabling them to achieve the work set by the class teacher and deliver intervention and support programmes. Experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential as support and training will be put in place for the successful candidate.
