Job Description
Stobart are looking to hear from an experienced, forward thinking Transport Coordinator to complement our strong team based in Appleton Thorn. Working in collaboration with the Transport Manager, the role is responsible for the day to day operation of the site and driver workforce.
Working hours: Wednesday - Sunday
Salary: £32,000 per annum.
Key Duties of a Transport Coordinator:
1. Report Vehicle/Trailer defects and escalating to the fleet department and relevant stakeholders.
2. Completing daily risk assessments of yard and office.
3. Ensure legal compliance by keeping tracker of working time directive for the driver workforce.
4. Coordinating CPC driver records.
5. Ensure customer demand is met by proactively managing driver resource Vs vehicle requirements.
6. Upkeep of vehicle allocation.
7. Staff absence.
8. New starter and leaver information.
9. Driver holiday request submissions.
