Warehouse Operative / Van Driver

We are currently looking for a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Operative with van driving responsibilities to join our growing team. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines warehouse operations with local deliveries, ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and working in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
This position is split between warehouse duties and customer deliveries:
• 75% Warehouse-based work
• 25% Driving and deliveries
No two days are exactly the same — you’ll be an important part of keeping stock moving efficiently while also ensuring customers receive their orders on time and in great condition.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties:
* Picking and packing customer orders accurately
* Scanning and labelling stock using warehouse systems
* Wrapping and preparing pallets for dispatch
* Loading and unloading deliveries
* Conducting stock counts and inventory checks
* Sorting damaged goods and processing returns
* Organising products into correct bays and locations
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
Delivery Duties:
* Driving a company van to deliver customer orders to local garages and trade customers
* Safely loading and unloading vehicle
* Handling car parts and automotive products including:
o Brake pads and discs
o Nuts, bolts and fittings
o Interior/exterior mirrors
o Wipers and accessories
o Fluids and oils
o Batteries and other vehicle essentials
* Providing friendly and professional customer service
* Ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time
Working Hours
* Monday – Friday: 08:30 – 17:30 (1 hour unpaid break)
* Every other Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00
* Consistent, full-time hours with overtime opportunities
Pay & Benefits
* £12.21 per hour
* Weekly pay every Friday

What We’re Looking For
* Full UK driving licence (essential)
* Good reliability and timekeeping
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and accuracy
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Previous warehouse or delivery experience is beneficial but not required
