About you as Operations Director The Operations Director plays a key role in making sure the resort runs smoothly day to day. Reporting to the Resort Director, you’ll work closely with all department heads to keep everything connected and running to the highest standard. We’re looking for someone who’s hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can think both strategically and practically. You’ll help drive high performance, great guest experiences, and a culture that’s focused on continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations across all departments to ensure a smooth and consistent guest experience. Collaborate with the Resort Director to develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the resort's objectives. Monitor budgets, manage costs, and support revenue growth through efficient operations. Lead and support Heads of Department, helping them grow and maintain high team performance. Line management of F&B Director, Executive Chef, Maintenance Manager, Spa & Leisure Manager & Director of Rooms. Maintain high standards across the resort by ensuring procedures are followed and quality is consistent. Ensure health, safety, and legal requirements are always met throughout the resort. Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and internal teams to support overall success. Analyse operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. The Ideal Operations Director: Experience in a senior operations role within the luxury hospitality sector, preferably in a 5-star resort or hotel. Proven ability to lead diverse teams, drive performance, and foster a positive work environment. Comprehensive understanding of resort operations, including front office, housekeeping, F&B, spa, and events. Strong skills in budgeting, financial analysis, and cost control. Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal. Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to address challenges proactively. Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable. Willingness to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
