Elevation Recruitment Group are currently partnering with a well-established, multi-division organisation undergoing a significant period of transformation.
The group is in the process of consolidating multiple subsidiary entities into its main trading company, whilst preparing for an ERP implementation and an upcoming year-end.

About the Role
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, this role will act as their right-hand person through a busy period of transformation, supporting across consolidation, reporting, and financial control.
It's a hands-on, high-impact interim assignment where you'll play a key role in strengthening processes, improving control, and ensuring the business stays financially stable through integration and system change.
Key responsibilities will include:
Delivering accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple entities
Leading consolidation and alignment as businesses are absorbed into the group structure
Overseeing month-end close, audit preparation and year-end accounts
Managing cashflow, working capital and statutory reporting
Strengthening internal controls and identifying process improvements
Getting hands-on with the team to support journal posting, reconciliations and issue resolution where necessary
Leading on the sales and cost of sales area – identifying inefficiencies, fixing issues at source, and improving control
Supporting the ERP implementation from a finance readiness and data integrity perspective
Working closely with the Group FD on ad-hoc projects and transformation initiatives
About You
You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with proven experience operating at Financial Controller or Finance Director level within a complex, changing environment.
This role would suit someone who enjoys variety, isn't afraid of rolling their sleeves up, and can bring calm, structure and clarity through a period of transition.
You'll bring:
Strong technical background in reporting, consolidation and controls
Confidence to work through ambiguity and solve problems pragmatically
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A hands-on mindset – comfortable posting journals and supporting the team as needed
Proven experience managing change – ERP implementation, process improvement or integration
The resilience and drive to “steady the ship” in a fast-moving environment
