Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of autistic people and those with learning disabilities? Join us as a Programme Support Admin for the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism. You'll play a vital role in supporting the rollout of Tier 1 and Tier 2 training across BDCFT, working alongside facilitators and experts with lived experience.

You will lead and support the delivery of the training alongside the facilitator and expert by experience co-trainers who will be autistic people and people with a learning disability.

Interview Date: 9th October 2025 (Subject to change)

You'll provide timely and effective administrative support to the Programme Facilitator, coordinate training sessions, venues, and co-facilitators, and support marketing and communication strategies to promote training. You'll also monitor and evaluate programme delivery, ensure compliance with national standards, and offer pastoral support to co-facilitators, ensuring inclusive, safe environments. Your role will include maintaining accurate records, reporting to stakeholders, and championing continuous improvement while upholding Trust values.

Essential qualifications and experience include:

GCSEs in English and Maths (A*–C) or equivalent experience

Experience in general office duties and managing competing workloads

Competence in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Understanding of autism, learning disability, and equality issues

Desirable:

Completion of Oliver McGowan Training (or working towards)

Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism

You'll need strong organisational and communication skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a sensitive, empathetic, and solutions-focused approach. This mobile role involves some on-site attendance and extensive use of computer equipment. You'll be expected to attend statutory and mandatory training and uphold safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety responsibilities.
