Audit & Accounts Manager in Hitchin | £65,000 - £70,000 (Dependent on Experience)
Clark Wood are delighted to be working with this highly regarded independent firm of chartered accountants in the Hitchin area as they look to add an Audit & Accounts Manager to their successful and growing team.
This reputable and progressive firm has an excellent presence across the area. As a result of sustained growth, they are keen to add a personable and professional Audit & Accounts Manager who can help enhance their reputation through the delivery of the highest level of client service to their premier clients.
Responsibilities
* Manage a varied portfolio of clients from a broad range of industry sectors, taking responsibility for the provision of services and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
* Lead the audit process from planning through to completion, including deployment of appropriate staff levels for each assignment.
* Review year-end accounts prepared by team members, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards before delivery to clients.
* Contribute to day-to-day management and training of staff, including involvement in staff reviews to support ongoing development.
* Involve yourself with business development activities, including presenting to new and existing clients with a view to winning new business for the firm.
Qualifications
* ACA or ACCA qualified.
* Wealth of audit experience from an established practice background.
* Previous staff management experience.
