Were now looking for an experienced and motivated Membership Sales Executive to represent FSB in the field, engaging directly with small business owners to grow membership and strengthen long-term relationships. The Role This is a field-based sales role where youll take ownership of your territory, proactively meeting small business owners face to face to understand their needs and demonstrate the value of FSB membership. Alongside in-person activity, youll also use phone, video, and digital channels to manage leads and maximise conversion and retention. Youll play a key role in driving new membership growth, retaining existing members, and contributing to FSBs wider mission to champion small businesses across the UK. What Youll Be Doing Proactively generating new business through face-to-face meetings, cold calling, outbound activity, referrals, and events Attending business exhibitions, networking events, and local shows to promote FSB membership Building strong, trusted relationships with prospective and existing members within your territory Conducting professional sales conversations both in person and remotely Presenting and tailoring FSB membership benefits to individual business needs Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through to close Confidently handling objections and negotiating membership sign-ups Achieving and exceeding monthly sales and revenue targets Maintaining accurate records using CRM systems and managing your sales pipeline Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a positive onboarding experience Keeping up to date with FSB products, services, and market trends What Were Looking For Proven experience in field sales, B2B sales, business development, or territory sales Strong record of success in a target-driven, commission-based environment Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills Confidence in face-to-face selling and closing deals Strong organisation and self-management skills Ability to work independently and effectively manage a geographic territory Comfortable using CRM systems and digital sales tools Resilient, driven, and commercially focused mindset A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable car are essential for this role, as travel will be required.
