Huddersfield Grammar School offers academic stretch and an enviable co-curricular programme. We are renowned for our rich vein of kindness and inclusivity. We encourage our pupils to work hard, aspire to high academic standards and we delight in watching them become fully-rounded members of the school and community.

We open their classrooms to the collective wisdom of over 100 schools in 17 countries, ensuring every child gets an education that’s, quite literally, world class.

It’s an individual approach that empowers every school, teacher and student to focus on what they do best and thrive.

About The Role

As a Teacher of Science, you will inspire curiosity and confidence in scientific learning across Years 7–11. You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that combine theoretical understanding with practical experimentation. Your role includes planning collaboratively, setting high expectations, and using data effectively to track and support pupil progress. You will also play an active part in the pastoral life of the school, taking responsibility for a form group and contributing to the wider school community. Through your subject passion, professionalism, and commitment to safeguarding, you’ll help shape a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.
