Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated freelance delivery driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting fast food order efficiently and safely to various locations around Congleton. We are looking for a self employed delivery driver with their own vehicle and the necessary insurance. Wednesday to Saturday 5-9:30pm, Sunday 5-8:30pm.
Pay
We will pay up to £10 per hour for hours worked plus £1.50 per delivery.
Duties
* Safely operate your own vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
* Handle food deliveries with care to ensure hot, fresh food is delivered to our customers.
* Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
* Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages.
* Assist in duties when not on delivery, including site cleanliness and organisation of stock.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
* Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
* Hold necessary insurance.
* Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
* Familiarity with kitchen operations is an advantage.
* A proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency in all tasks.
