About The Position

As a Retail Associate II, you will serve as a brand ambassador, providing exceptional customer service and contributing to store profitability and customer experience. You will use your problem-solving and sales skills to answer customer questions and recommend products, aligning with Columbia’s values to enhance service and teamwork. This role is designated for Retail Associates in the Key Holder Program.
How You’ll Make a Difference
* Provide excellent customer service by responding to questions about product features, benefits, and availability; engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
* Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; handle merchandise from sales floor, stockroom, or inventory locations.
* Perform all cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, including sales, returns, exchanges, and loyalty program connections.
* Support store profitability by managing product flow, replenishing stock, and processing incoming and outgoing inventory.
* Perform keyholder duties as needed, including opening and closing the store.
Qualifications
* No specific education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
* Up to 2 years of experience in similar roles.
* Skill operating POS systems, in-store computerized systems, and telephones.
Job Conditions
* Active environment requiring constant movement, physical activity, and handling items up to 40 lbs.; may involve exposure to dust and noise.
* Occasional stationary work.
* Effective communication skills.
* Flexible schedule availability, adaptable to seasonal or business needs, adhering to all applicable laws.
