Salary: £70,000-75,000 Benefits
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Are you an experienced senior Warehouse Operations Manager ready to take the next step into a strategic leadership role?
We're working with an established and ambitious distribution business that is continuing to invest in growth and technology. They are now looking for a Senior Warehouse Operations Manager to take overall accountability for their warehouse and drive operational excellence across the function.
The Role
As Senior Warehouse Operations Manager, you will:
1. Take full responsibility for the effective running of warehouse operations - including goods in, storage, picking, and dispatch.
2. Lead, inspire, and develop a team of Warehouse Managers and supervisors to deliver high standards of performance, engagement, and service.
3. Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards are always met.
4. Drive continuous improvement, lean processes, and efficiency gains across the function.
5. Champion the use of automation and technology to improve accuracy, productivity, and ROI.
6. Work closely with customer service, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless end-to-end operations.
About You
We're looking for a confident, hands-on leader who has:
7. A proven track record in senior warehouse or operations leadership roles.
8. Strong experience in goods in, picking, dispatch, and warehouse optimisation.
9. Exposure to warehouse automation and technology-driven improvements.
10. A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to coach and develop large operational teams.
11. Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety, compliance, and quality systems.
12. Experience of working in fast-paced, complex warehouse or manufacturing environments.
13. Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience would be a strong advantage.
