The Role
You’ll be joining a cross‑functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers, working across a modern tech stack to build performant, scalable software used by millions of consumers. This is a hands‑on senior role where you will take ownership of key system areas, drive technical improvements, and contribute to the evolution of a product undergoing an exciting phase of redevelopment.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality, high‑performing software
* Own and optimise key areas of the system, advocating for improvements and best practices
* Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver features at scale
* Contribute to the migration and modernisation of the existing Elixir platform into TypeScript‑based services
* Work on a platform that handles significant traffic, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
* Proven experience in a similar web development role
* Strong commercial experience with modern web technologies (TypeScript, React, or similar)
* Solid understanding of backend development principles
* Comfortable working across the stack and interested in full‑stack engineering
