Base pay range
Mechanical & Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Barrow-in-Furness – 2/3 days onsite per week
What you’ll be doing -
* Involved with the design of composite structures
* Calculations and reports
* Undertaking peer review checking activities to approve methods and calculations
* Supporting technical development and research activities
* Supporting junior engineers within the team
* Supporting installation activities in the production environment
Your skills and experiences -
* Mechanical Engineering Degree (or related STEM degree)
* Some understanding of material strength properties (elastic and plastic properties)
* Knowledge of MATLAB or MathCad
* Experienced in the use of SolidWorks or similar design package
All successful Mechanical Design Engineers will be contacted within 2 days of application
