Job Description

Key Responsibilities

3. Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and completion statements
4. Submit Land Registry and SDLT applications
5. Proofread documents for accuracy and consistency
6. Handle basic finance tasks including invoice preparation and account reviews
7. Manage diaries and emails for fee earners
8. Respond to telephone and email enquiries professionally
9. Provide general administrative support and ad hoc departmental duties

The Successful Applicant

Experience & AttributesEssential:

10. Minimum 1 year of commercial experience in a legal administrative or secretarial role
11. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage a busy workload
12. Comfortable liaising with clients on behalf of fee earners
13. Strong verbal and written communication skills
14. High attention to detail and accuracy
15. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
16. Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using IT systems
17. Excellent keyboard skills

Desirable:

18. Previous experience in a property law team
19. Familiarity with HMLR and SDLT processes
