Freelance Project Manager (Branded Content & Publishing)
Location: London (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)

Day Rate: Up to £415 per day (Inside IR35)

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Freelance Project Manager to join a fast-paced, high-performing media environment, delivering innovative branded content campaigns across digital and print platforms.
This role sits at the intersection of commercial and editorial, requiring someone who understands how to balance client objectives with high-quality editorial standards. You’ll be working across multiple campaigns, collaborating with creative, editorial, and commercial teams to deliver best-in-class content.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end delivery of branded content campaigns (digital & print)
* Coordinate editorial and commercial workflows to ensure seamless execution
* Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholders
* Work closely with internal teams including editorial, creative, and production
* Ensure all deliverables meet both client expectations and editorial standards
* Monitor and report on campaign performance, including digital and social metrics
* Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and provide regular project updates
* Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 18 months’ experience within a publishing environment (essential)
* Proven experience in a commercial editorial or branded content role
* Strong understanding of how editorial content integrates with commercial objectives
* Hands-on experience using CMS platforms (content creation and publishing)
* Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and project management tools
* Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
* Strong stakeholder and client management skills
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Confident communicator with the ability to present and report on progress
Working Pattern
* 4 days per week on-site in London
* 1 day remote working
