About the Role
Personal Assistants (Support Workers) play a vital role within Enable by supporting individuals to meet their personal goals and outcomes. Each day presents a variety of tasks and challenges unique to the person supported.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with personal care, moving and handling, and positive behavioural support.
* Help expand the individual’s social network and connections.
* Ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people you support are met.
Working Conditions
* 30 hours per week, with a mixed shift pattern.
* Pay rate of £13.45 per hour.
Requirements
* Commitment, dedication and a desire to support others.
* No prior care experience required; transferrable skills and values are valued.
Additional Information
Support will be provided to individuals with diverse needs, including those requiring full daily support such as medication, personal care, and meal assistance. A supportive, patient, and attentive approach is essential.
