Job Description
* Support local nursery teams in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5.
* Implement the EYFS framework through creative play, storytelling, and outdoor activities.
* Maintain an "enabling environment" by ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
* Act as a positive role model, assisting with daily routines including meal times and personal care.
* Build professional relationships with permanent staff and provide feedback to parents/carers.
Requirements
* Requirements
o Experience: A minimum of 3 months of recent experience in a UK Private Day Nursery (PVI) is essential (School-only experience is not suitable for these roles).
o Qualifications: We welcome Level 2 and Level 3 qualified practitioners, as well as experienced Unqualified Assistants.
o Morning Readiness: You must be reachable and ready to accept bookings from 7:00 AM on the days you choose to work.
o DBS: An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one immediately).
o Transport: Ability to travel to settings across Wakefield, Castleford, or Pontefract.
o References: Ability to provide two professional childcare-related references.

Requirements
Skills: Strong knowledge of the EYFS and a proactive "can-do" attitude. Experience: Recent PVI nursery experience (school-only experience is not suitable). Availability: At least one full day (8am-6pm) of availability per week. Ethics: A passion for inclusive practice and high standards of cleanliness.
