General Ledger Accounting Manager
Glasgow (Hybrid)
Salary up to £60,000 (DOE)
Lusona Consultancy are partnering with our global client to source suitable applications for the role of ‘General Ledger Accounting Manager’. This is an excellent time to be joining a dynamic and global environment. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, managing month-end close processes, and maintaining strong internal controls, alongside leading a small team. Moreover, you will play a key role in audit preparation, compliance, and continuous process.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Overseeing month-end close activities across multiple entities.
2. Ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP.
3. Preparing audit schedules and liaising with internal and external auditors.
4. Leading and developing a team of accountants.
5. Overseeing fixed assets, intercompany and journals across the team.
6. Driving automation and standardisation of accounting processes.
Applicants will ideally be a qualified accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA) with previous experience of supporting junior members or leading a team of accountants. You will have a strong understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting, hence a previous background within audit would be beneficial. Likewise, you will have strong attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills to lead a team accordingly.
