Job Title: CNC Miller

Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking to join an experience engineering company that offers a high quality, price competitive sub-contract Machining, Fabrication, Welding & Proof Load Testing services to a large number of prestige engineering clients worldwide.
Based in Derby, they produce precision components in a wide range of materials and sizes – all controlled by our quality management system approved to ISO 9001:2015 standards. Their ethos is to help your business perform well and to that end, we have the capability and capacity to provide you with large production volumes and one-off prototypes in very competitive lead times and at very competitive prices.
Key Responsibilities for the CNC Miller:
* Conversant with Fanuc control panels
* Must be able set and operate (programming advantageous)
* 3, 4 and 5 axis machining
* Working on small batch work
* Working to tight tolerances
* Must be able to inspect own work
* Experience working with various materials such as stainless and mils steel, aluminium and titanium
* Follow all health and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements for the CNC Miller:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in CNC milling
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent attention to detail.
* Experience in using a wide range of measuring and inspection tools.
* Background in working to tight tolerances and quality control processes.
* Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
* Recognized engineering apprenticeship, NVQ, or equivalent qualification is beneficial.
