Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting the planning team on a diverse range of infrastructure projects
2. Preparing consent applications and taking responsibility for specific project aspects
3. Drafting reports and meeting with clients or key stakeholders
4. Leading the planning consenting process from feasibility to implementation
5. Developing consents strategies and application documents
6. Building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal teams
7. Ensuring project delivery aligns with clients' objectives and timescales
Job Requirements:
8. Degree and/or master's in Town Planning and a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI)
9. Comprehensive knowledge of relevant planning legislation and policy
10. Experience supporting infrastructure consenting processes
11. Proven ability to articulate complex issues and manage client relationships
12. Strong project management skills with a track record in planning and delivery
13. Commercial and financial acumen in project management
14. Experience in business development and bidding for work
