Axon Moore have exclusively partnered with an industry leading business in Leyland which has witnessed significant growth in recent years whilst they seek to bolster the finance team with the recruitment of an Accounts Payable Supervisor able to hit the ground running and add value across the business in terms of processes improvement and team management whilst still being hands-on within the AP function.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Provide support and guidance to the accounts payable team
Ensure timely payments to suppliers
Management of creditors ledger, including month-end closure and analysis of aged balances
Supplier statement reconciliations
Onboarding new suppliers
Audit support
Process improvement, automation and/or streamlining
Produce and maintain clear and comprehensive process notes
Cross-departmental collaboration on projects
KPI reviews
Ad-hoc duties and project work
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong experience using Microsoft Excel
Boast a tenacious, problem-solving attitude with excellent attention to detail
Enthusiastic team player with a positive, hard-working approach
Able to think creatively and outside of the box when tacking issues
Well organised and self-motivated with an ability to prioritise and manage own time efficiently and effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
