Job Summary
NPE is seeking a skilled and motivated Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in repairing and maintaining electronic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Key Responsibilities
* PCB Repair and Maintenance:
* Expertly solder and rework PCB boards using advanced repair techniques.
* Perform repair services on various PCB types, including single-phase and three-phase circuits.
* Skilled in the repair and service of single-phase and three-phase circuit boards.
* Technical Troubleshooting:
* Read, interpret, and translate PCB diagrams and schematics for effective troubleshooting and repair.
* Diagnose and resolve issues at the component level to ensure equipment functionality.
* Component Knowledge:
* Utilise in-depth knowledge of electronic components such as SMT/SMD, PTH, power MOSFETs, IGBTs, and thyristors.
* Comprehensive experience in repairing and servicing switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), both single-phase and three-phase, as well as other high-voltage PCB boards.
* Repair and service switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) and other high-voltage PCB boards.
* Work closely with team members to support project goals.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Electronic Engineering Technician. The technician will be responsible for performing various tasks related to electronic engineering, including :
Qualifications
* Eligibility:
* Must be a UK resident with a valid work permit.
* Education:
* Degree or certification in Electronic Engineering (Diploma of Higher Education preferred).
* Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years in electronic repair, preferably within the industrial electronics sector.
* Technical Skills:
* Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Electronic Engineering.
* Proficient with test equipment and conducting tests on electronic systems.
* Soft Skills:
* Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Preferred:
* Full UK driver's license.
Compensation
* Salary: £27, £30,000.00 per year
* Additional Pay: Performance bonus opportunities
Work Schedule
* Hours: Monday to Friday,,{ 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM]
* Location: On-site at our facility in Newcastle Upon Tyne
