Are you a mechanical design engineer ready to make a significant impact in critical infrastructure?
We're recruiting on behalf of a high-performing, fast-growing consultancy working confidentially with a leading name in the data centre and critical infrastructure space. This is your chance to step into a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role with projects that demand precision, resilience, and sustainability at scale.
What You'll Do:
* Lead the mechanical design of advanced cooling and ventilation systems - CRAC/CRAH, chillers, DX, and more.
* Drive energy efficiency and innovation in mission-critical environments.
* Develop concepts through to construction-ready design (RIBA Stages 2-5).
* Collaborate across disciplines to deliver seamless solutions.
* Contribute to sustainability goals through carbon impact analysis and lifecycle costing.
What You'll Bring:
* Degree-qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
* Experience in data centres or other high-availability environments.
* Mastery of HVAC design, chilled water/DX systems, and energy modelling tools (AutoCAD, Revit, IESVE, etc.).
* Sharp technical writing and problem-solving skills.
